Demonstration against the closure of Broomhill library on Saturday

Broomhill Library Action Group is inviting Crosspool residents to join them for a demonstration against the closure of the library outside Spar, Broomhill on Saturday 14 December between 10am and 12 noon.

    They would be better employed putting together a proposal to take it over and run it. They could also let Clegg know that when they voted LibDem they weren’t banking on him supporting Tory cuts.

      That is exactly what we are doing! Today was an excellent way of letting more people know about the closure and gave them a chance to express their concerns and get involved. Around 100 people signed the petition, did the user survey and were given copies of the Council Review survey and advice how to access this online.
