The two charities that received £650 each from this year’s festival are:

  • Care in Crosspool which provides a befriending service for the elderly, organising regular visits to someone living on their own
  • Roundabout, a local Sheffield youth housing charity providing shelter, support and life skills to young people.

Thanks to everyone that was involved in this year’s festival, from the uniformed groups, local pubs and businesses and everyone else who have indicated their support to everyone who came along to th events.

The prize winning programme cover designs are by Lily Holt, Lydgate Infant School [front] and Polly Hill, Lydgate Junior School [back]. These and other entries can be seen in Cocker & Carr Estate Agents, Sandygate Road. We’d like to thank all the talented artists from both schools who entered.
