Traffic wardens were out and about in Crosspool on Thursday this week, and several tickets were issued for overstaying, parking in disabled bay without valid permits, and stopping on double yellow lines.
Just a quick reminder that from Monday to Friday parking is limited to 1 hour on Benty Lane and Selborne Road, and 2 hours in the precinct, with no return within 3 hours. A little care now saves a headache later.

They should come more often, the revenue could more than pay the wardens wages for the day if not a week. Especially for the disabled bays which are regularly abused, the one outside the chip shop often having cars without a blue badge, work vans, even council vehicles there while the occupants brazenly sit eating their chips or sandwich from Ellie’s.
