Yorkshire Water have now dealt with the burst water main at the Stephen Hill junction with Manchester Road
To allow for the carriageway to be reinstated, the junction is expected to remain CLOSED until the weekend.
Local residents in the surrounding area may have experienced low pressure or no water due to these urgent repairs carried out by Yorkshire Water. The water now restored may be cloudy or discoloured, this will return to normal shortly after and you can help clear this by running your tap for a few minutes.
