At approximately 11:15 this morning, Tuesday 11 August, a three‑vehicle collision occurred at the top of Selborne Road involving a Nissan Juke, a Porsche, and a Vauxhall Corsa. The impact caused the Nissan Juke to overturn onto its side, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
The occupants of the overturned vehicle, a pregnant 30‑year‑old woman and, reportedly, her mother , were understandably shaken but not believed to be seriously injured. Paramedics assessed and treated both at the scene before being taken to hospital as a precaution.
Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted while the vehicles were made safe and the road cleared.
