Good News for anyone heading towards the Peaks!

Manchester Road at Hollow Meadows is scheduled to reopen tomorrow (2nd June) after the landslip repair works. There’s been no sign of a delay, so fingers crossed for a smooth return to normal.
We’ll update you the moment it’s confirmed.

What has been confirmed is the Snake Pass June–July closure.
Derbyshire County Council has confirmed that the A57 Snake Pass will close from Monday 15th June to Friday 3rd July for detailed ground‑investigation works at the Doctor’s Gate landslip site. The route between Ladybower and Glossop will be shut to all traffic throughout the 18‑day programme. Drivers heading towards Manchester or the High Peak will need to use alternative routes via the A628 Woodhead Pass or Chapel‑en‑le‑Frith.
