Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is chosen as a Co-op Local Community

Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is delighted to have been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund.

At a time when funds for community groups and charitable organisations are becoming more difficult to access, they’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity to make a real difference in Sheffield.

Whirlow Hall Farm Trust is raising funds to support the costs of running their education programmes on their working farm. It costs over £1million each year to run their charity and provide educational visits for children and young people. They have specialist programmes to help children and young people with additional learning needs and/or struggling with their mental health. They work with primary and secondary age children as well as those over sixteen.Whirlow Lamb

Their mission is to ensure there is a place in education for every child.

To help them raise vital funds, they’ll be relying on Co-op members. When a member buys selected products or services from the Co-op they earn a 5% reward for themselves, with a further 1% for local causes like Whirlow Hall Farm Trust.

The Co-op is looking to support organisations that make a difference in their local communities by protecting & improving community spaces, helping people reach their full potential by developing their skills or promoting health and well-being.

Co-op members can choose Whirlow Hall Farm Trust as their local cause by visiting membership.coop.co.uk/causes/34939. They really hope that people will visit the website and donate their 1% to the Whirlow Hall Farm Trust.

If you’re not a member and would like to support them, you can join at your local store or online
at www.coop.co.uk.

When a community comes together they’re able to achieve great things, so they hope you can help promote their project.
