We love recycling real Christmas trees because it encourages you, for a small donation, to recycle your old tree for cattle bedding and in so doing prevent it from ending up in a landfill.
Our thanks to the many who brought their tree down last Sunday for recycling by our local tree specialist Andrew Clayton, and to the volunteers who made this year’s fundraising event such a success.
We’d particularly like to give a big thank you to” Direct Travel”, for allowing the space in front of their premises to be invaded with over two hundred Christmas trees.
Our appreciation to the many local businesses for their continued support displaying Christmas trees and to the team of volunteers who helped put them up and take them down year on year.
 It all adds up to a very successful event for both the community and the environment.
