This year, to give plenty of scope for entrants to let their imaginations run wild, the popular annual Crosspool Scarecrow festival has a Royal theme with designs based on historical moments and occasions from the past 70yrs of the Queen’s reign. We hope local residents will get creative and have some fun with the theme and create some amusing scarecrows.
Judging for the best scarecrows will take place during the Crosspool festival week and the winners will be announced at the Crosspool Summer Fayre, Saturday 2nd July. (Volunteers are also required to help at the Crosspool Summer Fayre,so if you can spare a few hours to help or supervise a stall, please don't hesitate to get in touch with one of the committee members or leave a message at crosspoolforum@gmail.com )
