After long deliberation judging the many entries to this year’s Photo, Art and Cake competitions, the winners were finally announced and awarded with their certificates and cash prizes at the close of the exhibition in St Columba’s Church at 4.30pm, Wednesday the 3rd July.
This year’s Crosspool festival well- dressing on the theme of “TIME”, was produced over a period of a week by the Petalers seen stood to the left of the display, but has been in the planning since the beginning of the year.

Using only natural materials, it has taken a total of 400 working hours to produce this year’s traditional well-dressing.
Some of the materials used were:- Clay, Hydrangea, various leaves, Chrysanthemum, Magnolia seed pods, Parsley, Fern, Bamboo, Burberis, Ornamental grass, Magnolias, Feverfew, Pine cones, Peppercorns, string, grit and many many more. Can you spot any more?
This afternoon, Wednesday 3rd July, St Columba’s Church 2.00 to 5.00pm

Art, Photography -Cakes- Pet of the year & Children’s Decorated Biscuits
Certificates & Prizes will be presented to the winners at 4.30pm
