June 5th is a massive part of a celebration weekend. It’s the Queen’s Jubilee plus Pentecost/Whitsun.
Tapton Church (Tapton Hill Road /Manchester Road) is having an afternoon full of activities.

  • 2.00pm-2.45pm: Drop into the Hall to make a kite or make crafts.
  • 2.45pm-3.15pm: Singing and story time in the Chapel and decorating the doors.
  • 3.30pm:  Big Jubilee/Whitsun kite-fly on the fields.

Try out the kite you’ve made earlier or bring your own, unless the weather is wet.
It would be good to have an idea of numbers so please reserve your place by emailing suzannenockels@gmail.com or phoning 0114 2325790. However, you can still turn up on the day!

We’d be grateful for a donation of £1.50 per child for the whole afternoon to cover craft materials.
