To safeguard Royal British Legion staff, volunteers and members of the public during the current pandemic restrictions, this year their devoted community volunteer Poppy Appeal street collections have had to be curtailed.
In the unprecedented challenges that COVID-19 poses, the Royal British Legion local organisers face difficulties raising funds from this year’s Poppy Appeal.
To help you, your neighbours, family and friends, get hold of a poppy and contribute to the appeal, the Spar, GT News and Pet Supplies in the Crosspool precinct have generously agreed to support the appeal and from mid-day tomorrow, Thursday 22nd, will have a supply of poppies.
