Crosspool Forum committee are trying to reunite this pouch with the owner. It was lost at the 2016 Summer Fayre at CDYST on Coldwell Lane. The contents are quite special and may have some sentimental value. If you think it is yours, please email crosspoolforum@gmail.com.
Care in Crosspool are looking to welcome more volunteers for befriending in the local community.
You have to be over 18. Their chair will be at the summer fayre with more information or otherwise please contact the office on 0114 267 0045 or email careincrosspool@gmail.com.

Don’t miss the Crosspool Summer Fayre on Saturday 2 July, one of the many events taking place as part of this year’s Crosspool Festival. Look out for the full programme coming soon!
Following the torrential thunderstorm in the early hours, it was a murky start to 4 July.
As the low cloud and fine drizzle slowly cleared  throughout the morning, the CDYST sports field & hall on Coldwell Lane were gradually transformed, by an army of volunteers, into the setting for the Crosspool Forum Summer Fayre.
The  event was officially opened  by a lifelong Crosspool lady Faye Buxton, who earlier this year had moved from Sheffield to be nearer her family.
As  visitors arrived to enjoy the attractions, stalls and entertainment by local Irish dancers, the Yorkshire Chandelier Clog dancers,  Richard Francis Duo and the children’s favourite comedian/magician Barney Baloney, the sun broke through and shone for the whole afternoon.
A truly enjoyable day was had by everyone.
The organisers of the Fayre would like to thank everyone for attending the event and especially the team of dedicated volunteers who helped make the whole event possible.
