A new calendar featuring Crosspool scenes will go on sale in local shops on Saturday 29 October.
Many of the photos in the calendar are once again taken by local residents and there are also some archive shots showing familiar locations looking very different from times gone by.
The 2017 Crosspool calendar is available from Saturday for just £4 from Nest cafe, Crosspool Pets, Enhance, GT News and Charisma and, if they arrive back from the printers in time, at the Open Meeting on Thursday 27 October.

If you happen to be in the Crosspool precinct over the next two or three weeks, have a look in the right-hand window of GT News.
You’ll find a display of pictures painted by year six children at Lydgate Infant School.
Although they are all commendable, your choice will be decisive in determining the winner of a competition to find the best. You can record your favourite with the GT News sales staff.
The child with the most votes by the 4 January 2012 will be presented with a £20 voucher.
The photos below were taken just before 9am this morning, and show Philip James butchers, GT News, Spar and the greengrocers all open for business. MG Mosley & Sons milk float was also out and about making deliveries as normal.
Local community spirit was also in evidence, with residents assisting with the clearing of snow and making trips to the shops to pick up supplies for neighbours. With the local schools all closed today (Wednesday 1 December 2010), children are also making the most of the snow with sledging and snowballing.
