Active8 Sheffield and the Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA’s women’s six-a-side league is returning to Crosspool on the King Edwards’ floodlit astroturf on Darwin Lane.
The sessions start at 7pm on Monday nights. All teams are welcome, whether it be established teams looking for extra practice or leisure groups wanting to keep fit and join in an exciting and official league.

Sheffield city council is looking to extend its snow warden scheme this winter and is offering free shovels to community groups who would like to get involved.

Tapton Hill Congregational Church is holding its Autumn Craft Fayre this Saturday, 9 November.
It starts at 2pm and features stalls, refreshments, produce, a tombola, books and cakes.
The church can be found on the corner of Manchester Road and Tapton Hill Road.
A white and tan King Charles Spaniel was found on Darwin Lane on Monday morning. It has a pink collar with no name tag.
The dog is now being looked after by the council, so please contact them if you know who the owner is.

Good news: Ruby, the dog found on Darwin Lane Monday, has been reunited with her owners.

Join the Beavers for hedge planting on Hagg Copse this Saturday, 9 November at 10am.
Tea and coffee will be supplied, but if you could bring your own gardening gloves and tools that would be a big help.
Hagg Copse is a community green area on the corner of Coldwell Lane and Manchester Road, maintained by Crosspool Forum.
