Unwind at the end of festival week and get into the seventies groove this evening at St. Columba’s from 8—11pm.
It’s an evening of good-time music, karaoke, dancing and all round fun with the highly-regarded Shep’s Disco. Big hair and platform shoes are optional but not essential!

Sheffield Folk Chorale and local young harpist Ciara Noon are the performers at this year’s Crosspool Festival Gala Concert.
It takes place on Thursday 2 July at Stephen Hill Church, Manchester Road, 7.30pm start.

Tuesday evening sees the historic Hallam Chase return to Crosspool, an annual fell race organised by Hallamshire Harriers and hosted by Hallam Cricket Club.
At 8pm on the Tuesday evening after the second bank holiday in May, runners set off from Hallam football/cricket club’s Sandygate ground, go down Den Bank through the Rivelin Valley and up to Stannington church, before returning by the same route. The run 3¼ miles long, with 800 feet of climb.
In 2014Â Michael Twigg took first prize. The record time of 19 minutes 42 seconds was set in 1968 by Trevor Wright.
Join in the exercise to music class and enjoy cake with tea or coffee at the Fun, Food and Fitness event at Stephen Hill church on Tuesday 12 May, 3-4.30pm.
Handmade cards, costume jewellery and summer scarves will also be on sale.
