Hallam Choral Society will be singing Carols and Christmas songs at the Hallam Community Centre from 7.30pm to 8.30pm on Monday 15th December.
Admission is free. Refreshments and a licensed bar will be available. Voluntary donations appreciated.
Come along, bring your friends and family, and share in the joy of Christmas music with your community.
Bradfield Christmas Tractor Run starts at 5pm, this Sunday 14th December.
Starting at Fox Valley Shopping Centre, the tractor run rolls on past a series of local pubs—here’s the route with approximate times:
A prize draw will take place for the best-dressed tractor, with a raffle to follow at the end of the route at The Bradfield Plough, Low Bradfield.
Crookes Christmas Market is happening tomorrow, Saturday 6th December at Wesley Hall, Crookes (11am–3pm).
Expect plenty of your favourite stalls alongside exciting new traders, bringing fresh inspiration for those perfect Christmas gifts.
Carver Street stop closed for most services from this Sunday 7th December 2025.
New route will go via Rockingham Street with a stop near West Street.
Sheffield Connect SC1 will still use Carver Street.
Affected services: 6, 30, 30a,51,52, 52a, 95, 95S, 120, 120k, 181, 257a, 257b, X30.Â
Rockingham Street bus hub connects you to other services.
No raised kerb yet, but buses can still lower or ramp.

There will be a carol sing at Stephen Hill Methodist Church, Manchester Road, Crosspool, between 10.30 and 11.30am this Monday Morning 8th December.
All are Welcome. Come and request your favourite Christmas Carol.

Are you a proud Crosspudlian whose heart is warmed by the coming together of the community at the annual Selborne Road Street Market? Why not make certain that this event takes place in 2026 by volunteering? We’re sure that you’ll make friends and have fun in the process! Be part of the community by checking you are free on 28 June 2026 and, if available, sign up by 12December 2025 to help make the 2026 Market the most successful yet!
We are currently recruiting for the following roles:
Volunteers
Volunteer(s) A to ensure the smooth setting up of the stalls (8am start~
Volunteer(s) B to assist in helping to direct traffic as stall holders leave (4pm start)
Volunteer(s) C to assist with rubbish collection (12-4pm)
Volunteer(s) D to act as stewards, helping with visitor queries, Lost & Found, First Aid etc. (12-4pm)
Time commitment will be limited to a 1-hour briefing meeting plus no more than a couple of hours on the day. And, if you fancy it, taking part in a ‘thank you’ get together after the event!

Street Market Organiser
You will play a key role in coordinating the volunteers and tasks required to ensure the overall success of the event. Duties will include managing the volunteers, booking stall holders and allocating them to their pitches, ensuring that residents and shop owners are aware of the event date/time and that Selborne Road is legally and safely cordoned off. Full details are available from Chris Batchelor. Clear guidance and pro forma are also available, as is the support of previous organisers, to assist you in making Crosspool Street Market 2026 the best ever!
