In leafy Crosspool, the recent pause in garden waste collection has turned the humble green bin into a symbol of community spirit.
As residents band together, sharing tips on composting and waste management, the green bins stand ready, like soldiers awaiting orders. They’re not just receptacles for clippings and peelings anymore; they’re beacons of cooperation, patiently lined up for the next collection day, Saturday, 26th October.
Remember to set your alarms and wheel out your green companion by 7am.

A communal bin would be brilliant.
A concern where would it be positioned,
Who could have access?
Compost bins are great but can attract vermin as one of friends has had the unfortunate experience of in the past.
Lots of consideration to be had but if for more environmental waste collection
it would be good if we could have a communal green waste collection or compost heap in Crosspool and also communal skips a few times a year.
