You’re invited to Stephen Hill Methodist church on Monday 4 December at 10:30am for an hour or so of informal carol singing in the forum area over a cup of coffee.
You can request your favourite carol to be sure that you get to sing it at least once this year.

Residents of Dransfield Road celebrated the night before Christmas with carols on the street accompanied by brass musical instruments.
It’s the third year running that people living on the road have got together on Christmas eve to sing carols, drink mulled wine and eat mince pies. Despite a couple of rain showers, over 60 people joined in.

Joint carol service at St. Columba’s church on Sunday 16 December
Stephen Hill Methodist Church and St. Columba’s Church invite you to join them for a joint carol service on Sunday 16 December at 4pm at St. Columba’s Church.
You can hear the Christmas story through readings, poetry, plus traditional and local carols, with warming refreshments afterwards.
The 1860 suite at Sandygate
Hallam FC chaplain Reverend Peter Allan is to host an evening of Christmas carols, mulled wine and mince pies at Sandygate, the oldest football ground in the world.
From 7pm on Thursday 20 December Peter will lead a choir and guests through some best-loved carols around the tree in the 1860 Suite.
All the family are welcome and the bar will stay open afterwards.
