Crosspool Forum is inviting contributions to the new edition of the Crosspool Calendar.

If you have any photographs of Crosspool, old or new then please consider submitting them for possible inclusion in the new 2017 calendar which will be available soon.

We’re after a variety of views, eras and seasons and your photos don’t have to be taken using an expensive camera.

How to send in your pictures

Please email your entries as high resolution jpgs by Friday 30 September to crosspoolnews@gmail.com with the subject line ‘Crosspool calendar photos’. Remember to include your name and contact details.

You must own the copyright for any photo that you submit and by sending us the photo you agree that we can use it on the Crosspool Calendar, Crosspool News website, social media and for any other promotional means.

The Plough pub consultation deadline extended to Monday 19 September

The consultation deadline to comment on proposals for changes to The Plough pub has been extended to Monday 19 September.

After the pub closed in April, Sainsbury’s  announced plans to turn it into a convenience store.

This is the second time that the deadline for comments has been extended.

Meet a Master Lego Builder and make a Lego car to take part in a big challenge. Games, refreshments and loads of bricks. £5 per child (includes cost of the Lego car to take home).
