If you have a keen eye for photography and think you have a picture worthy to feature in the 2021 Crosspool calendar, we’re on the hunt for your best pictures of the Crosspool area.
We’d love you to share your images of Crosspool with us all, so with the current situation of having to self-isolate and social distancing, right now would be a very good time to search through your albums for your best pictures to feature in the Crosspool calendar.
Here’s how you can submit your images. Initially send your entries to us via an email to crosspoolforum@gmail.com – remembering to provide your name, picture location and the month you would like your picture to be featured.
Please keep hold of a high-resolution version of any submitted!

These are the winning entries for this year’s
“Pet of the Year Competition”.
Each winner was presented with a voucher to spend at the Crosspool Pet Supplies, Sandygate Road, Crosspool
Cocker and Carr (Estate Agents), Sandygate Road, CrosspoolÂ
who kindly sponsored this year’s event, will be displaying these photos in their shop window until the end of next week.


After long deliberation judging the many entries to this year’s Photo, Art and Cake competitions, the winners were finally announced and awarded with their certificates and cash prizes at the close of the exhibition in St Columba’s Church at 4.30pm, Wednesday the 3rd July.
There’s still time for you to enter one of the Crosspool Festival competitions to showcase your creativity in the areas of art, photography, cake making and biscuit decorating
Entries for the Art and Photography Competition can be handed in at Cocker and Carr Estate Agents, 11-13 Sandygate Rd, Sheffield S10 5NG Tele: 0114 268 7777, any time before 5pm, Friday 28th June.
Entries for the cakes and biscuits Competition must be handed in at St Columba’s Church, 503 Manchester Rd, Sheffield S10 5PL, Tele: 0114 267 0006 on Tuesday 2nd July between 7 & 8 pm, or Wednesday morning 3rd July between 9 &10 am.

The polls received nearly 600 votes. The results are below. The prizes will be awarded at the Summer Fayre on Saturday 7 July.
