On Saturday 5 January 2013 a black cat called Pudding went missing from his home on Cairns Road. Have you seen him?

He is around 10 years old (the owners don’t know for certain as he was rescue cat), with black long fur with a brownish chest and green/yellow eyes. A distinguishing feature is a little nick in his tongue. He doesn’t have a collar and isn’t microchipped.

The owners are asking whether you could check your garage, basement, greenhouse and shed in case Pudding – who also responds to the name Wow Wow – is trapped inside.

If you think you might have seen him, please ring the owner on 07904 468589.

Reward offered for information on stolen rabbit

Abu the rabbit
Did you see Abu the rabbit and his hutch being stolen?

A rabbit and hutch belonging to a six year-old girl was stolen from a garden on Manchester Road last weekend.

The owners are appealing for people to get in touch if they saw anything or know the whereabouts of the grey and white rabbit, who is called Abu.

Abu and his hutch are thought to have been taken between 7 and 9pm on Sunday 5 August. A van or large car was probably used due to the weight and size of the two-story hutch. The vehicle will probably have been parked near or opposite the Jet petrol station around that time.

If you can help then please call 07828 869313. A reward has been offered.
