The “Friends of Lydgate Green” are organising a green clean up day for this Saturday!
Friends of Lydgate Green, a small group of local residents who have made themselves responsible for the upkeep of Lydgate green at the corner of Lydgate Lane /Lydgate Hall Crescent in Crosspool, are organising a day to work on the flower beds at the Green.
This Saturday 19th September, for a couple of hours from 10am, volunteers will be weeding, moving plants, litter picking and generally tidying up the area.
It’s a family affair, anyone interested in helping are invited to come along.
Ever mindful of the current pandemic and social distancing, please bring your own gloves, forks, spades & buckets!
There are gaps to be filled, so any spare perennials for donation are also very welcome.
