Calling all young creators (ages 5–11) and their grown-up! No unaccompanied children please.
Step into a world where bricks become banquets and imagination is always on the menu.
Design your very own café or restaurant using LEGO bricks; will it be a Dragon Diner serving sizzling fries or a Superhero Ice Cream Parlour stacked with sky-high scoops? Maybe a Harvest Hut bursting with autumn treats and veggie delights?
Let’s celebrate our favourite foods and the joy of Harvest time. Get creative with colourful builds and wild ideas, working together to bring your edible dreams to life.
Whether you’re dreaming of rainbow spaghetti or pumpkin pie that flies, this is your chance to build, bond, and be part of something brilliant.
Refreshments included. Donations welcome.
Please note- you cannot take your creation home, but you can take lots of photos of it.

Creating a Lego boat that can float and carry marbles is a fun and educational activity that combines engineering and creativity. The number of marbles your Lego boat can hold depends on its design and buoyancy. A well-designed Lego boat can be quite buoyant and hold a significant number of marbles.
As for the Bible story, it refers to the miraculous catch of fish, a tale of faith and abundance, reminding us of the unexpected ways in which life can flourish under divine providence. This story can inspire reflection on the richness and possibilities of lives Surprises

So embrace the spirit of Christmas and let the churches in Crosspool guide you on a heartfelt journey of celebration and reflection.
Tapton Hill Congregational Church invites you to join them in the church garden just before 11 am tomorrow, Saturday 11th November, for a service of remembrance around the Crosspool community memorial.
The Rev. Suzanne Nockels will lead you in prayer and reflection to remember the sacrifice of those around the world whose life has been touched by conflict.
A lone trumpeter will play the last post and the two-minute silence will be observed.

Lost Chord Dementia Charity Comes to the Crosspool Festival
Tuesday 4th July at 7pm – Tapton Hill Congregational Church
LOST CORD UK is an innovative charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and well-being of those living with dementia and other complex health needs.
They provide interactive music sessions in both the community and care home settings and increase the self-esteem and well-being of everyone who takes part in these sessions.
From a modest beginning in 11 CareHomes in Rotherham, Lost Chord has expanded across the country.
We will be joined by their CEO, Clare Langan, a flautist with an international reputation, who has worked with the charity for 20 years and is a passionate ambassador for Lost Chord.
Clare will tell us more about the charity and its impact on the lives of people living with dementia and how we can get involved.
