Sheffield Carers Service supports the wellโ€‘being of unpaid carers across the city by offering essential information, advice, and practical and emotional support. Now part of Crossroads Care Charity (since early 2026), the service builds on more than 30 years of experience helping carers navigate local support in Sheffield.

Over 12,000 residents are already part of this caring community. If you look after a family member or friend who is frail, disabled, ill, or living with a mental health condition, youโ€™re welcome to join them. A full definition of who counts as a carer is available via this link

Melodious Brass of the Salvation Army Band

Donโ€™t miss this chance to enjoy The Salvation Army Bandโ€™s annual concert and to support their praiseworthy cause. There is no admission fee, but you will have an opportunity to contribute a donation to the ongoing work of the Salvation Army in Sheffield if you wish.

Sheffieldย One World Choir in Concert

Sheffieldย One World Choir aims for positive social change through the development of a welcoming and vibrant community choir, primarily for asylum seekers and refugees in Sheffield. They meet weekly to rehearse and socialise and perform regularly at community events.

The Choir will be singing in the Worship area at Stephen Hill Church, starting at 7.30pm on Friday 18th October 2024. It will be ticket-less, donations on the night. Half of all money raised goes to the Church charities, and half to support the One World Choir.
