Crosspool now has a community defibrillator

Thanks to a generous donation from a local resident and a council grant Crosspool Forum has been able to buy and install a defibrillator for emergency use in the community.

The defibrillator is located on the right-hand external side wall of St Columba’s church, Manchester Road S10 5PL.

In the event of an emergency, where you think someone might require the defibrillator:

  • Call 999 as usual
  • Let the emergency services know that there is a defibrillator locally
  • The emergency services will then let you know the access code and the procedure to be follow so that you, your staff or others involved can help

Defibrillators have been shown to save lives around the country and we hope that this will be a valuable asset to the community.
