Are some of your new year’s resolutions to lose weight, eat more healthily and keep fit? If so, there are six sessions at the local Slimming World group to choose from at Wesley Hall, Crookes, where the group moved in November:
There is parking, disabled and pushchair access and children are always welcome to attend with their parents too. There’s no need to book, but if you’d like more information, please contact Emma on 0114 233 5205, 07941 062353 or em2656@yahoo.co.uk.
Spaces are available from January at the St Columba’s church playgroup in Crosspool.
The group takes place on Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30am-11:25am. It costs £6 a session and is suitable for children from two years to school age.

The popular Magnificent Meals for Men cookery course will be running again for six weeks, starting on Friday 26 16 October.

Unwind at the end of festival week and get into the seventies groove this evening at St. Columba’s from 8—11pm.
It’s an evening of good-time music, karaoke, dancing and all round fun with the highly-regarded Shep’s Disco. Big hair and platform shoes are optional but not essential!
