Oakbrook Badminton Club

The Oakbrook Badminton Club welcomes new members who want to play badminton in a friendly and competitive environment.

The club is known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, where you can meet new people and have fun.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy badminton and socialize, you might want to check out this club. It offers a spacious hall with all the necessary equipment, as well as various teams for different levels. Although they have a minimum skill level requirement, as long as you have an acceptable serve and can keep a rally going with other team players, you’ll fit in.

The fees are affordable and reflect the quality and convenience of the club’s facilities and amenities

You can join them every Tuesday and Friday, 7pm to 10pm in the Sports Hall, King Edward’s Lower School, Darwin Lane, Crosspool, Sheffield S10 5RG.

if you’re interested, it might be wise to contact their secretary, James Sedgley in advance to let him know.

The Crosspool & District Youth Sports Trust (CDYST) trustees are looking for suggestions from local residents for how the youth sports facilities might be upgraded in 2011.

The CDYST sports hall on Coldwell Lane was built in 1992 for use by individuals or groups requiring a base or hall for events. There is also a four-acre sports field for outdoor events such as sports matches or exhibitions.
