Crosspool Forum is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and is looking for more people to get involved – could that be you?
You can read more about Crosspool Forum’s history here. It was set up in 2003 to help make our community a great place to live. This is done through organising events, working to improve our neighbourood and tackling issues raised by residents. It also publishes a quarterly magazine and of course this website.
Steered by Chairman Ian Hague, Crosspool Forum is run entirely by volunteers through its 15 elected committee members. The continued success and expansion of the Forum has meant that in recent months its work has been spread between just a few people and it’d be great to build on this success with you on board.
Can you help? If you can spare a modest amount of time to take on a small administrative roll or one of the two vacant management committee positions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with chairman Ian Hague using crosspoolforum@fsmail.net or by telephone on 0114 335 1674/07713 687 955.
In particular, we’re looking for people:
- with bookkeeping experience
- who would be interested in helping publish the Crosspool Clarion magazine
- with the enthusiasm to take on various other organising/administrative duties.
Getting involved is rewarding and can make a real difference to our community, so please give it some thought.
