Countrymen lose to Nostell and Bridlington

Two defeats in seven days have meant Crosspool’s local football club Hallam FC has been unable to lift itself off the bottom of the Northern Counties East Premier League.

The Countrymen lost 4-1 to Nostell Miners Welfare on Saturday 12 March and suffered a 2-0 reverse to Bridlington Town over the weekend.

Hallam’s next game at Sandygate is on Thursday against Hall Road Rangers, kick off 7:45pm.

Hallam FC were on the wrong end of a 5-1 defeat when they took on Bridlington Town at Sandygate on Saturday.

The result means that Hallam are now second from bottom of the Northern Counties East League, with just one point from the last four games.
