Have you had chance to see the Crosspool Festival 2017 well dressing at the top of Selborne Road in person yet? Here are some behind-the-scenes photos showing the painstaking effort that went into creating it. Well done to all!
2017 Crosspool Calendars are almost out of stock. If you’d like a copy or two for stocking fillers then make sure you pick them up before they sell out.
They’re available from GT News, Charisma, Nest, Enhance and the pet shop.
Many thanks to those who have already purchased their copies. Money raised will help Crosspool Forum funds for local events and improvements to our neighbourhood.
A new calendar featuring Crosspool scenes will go on sale in local shops on Saturday 29 October.
Many of the photos in the calendar are once again taken by local residents and there are also some archive shots showing familiar locations looking very different from times gone by.
The 2017 Crosspool calendar is available from Saturday for just £4 from Nest cafe, Crosspool Pets, Enhance, GT News and Charisma and, if they arrive back from the printers in time, at the Open Meeting on Thursday 27 October.
Money raised will help Crosspool Forum funds for local events and improvements to our neighbourhood.
Crosspool Forum is inviting contributions to the new edition of the Crosspool Calendar.
If you have any photographs of Crosspool, old or new then please consider submitting them for possible inclusion in the new 2017 calendar which will be available soon.
We’re after a variety of views, eras and seasons and your photos don’t have to be taken using an expensive camera.

The results are in for this year’s Crosspool Festival photography competition.

The judges shortlisted photos in two categories and the public votes on this website to choose which best tells a story to the viewer and that really captures the theme.

2. Too much. Too empty. Set me free
Category 2 winner: photos by adults
1. Bob the dog, running on the beach. This is Bob, our Irish Setter who sadly died last year. He was such a character, full of love and full of life. We miss him a lot.
