A welcoming space to learn gardening, forestry, garden design and more, all guided by experienced facilitators.
No gardening experience needed, and all tools and refreshments are provided.

This year, Heritage Open Days unlock the doors to discovery. Whether you’re tracing the trail from Percy Cane’s Garden to the General Cemetery or diving into Minecraft-inspired creativity at Broomhill Library, there’s a story waiting for you around every corner.

Join us for Tea, cake, and conversation as postgraduate students from the University of Sheffield’s Architecture Department share their reflections and ideas at the close of their six-week placement with us. Their poster presentation, Heritage Hub for S10 – Our Plans and Stories, starting outside, then moving indoors, celebrates local legacy and future possibilities.

Heritage on your doorstep! Lots of events to choose from around heritage, gardening, and the environment with several authors talking about local history and well-being as well as heritage activities for kids.
