Remembrance is not only about the past, it’s also about how we care for one another today.
In Crosspool, we carry forward their spirit by building bonds of kindness, resilience, and hope.

If you stroll through the Crosspool precinct, you will have noticed a striking display of flags hanging above many local shops.
These flags have been raised to commemorate the upcoming Victory in Europe (VE) Day and will continue their proud display until the end of the summer.
The entire initiative was made possible through the efforts and support of Crosspool Forum.
Tapton Hill Congregational Church invites you to join them in the church garden just before 11 am tomorrow, Saturday 11th November, for a service of remembrance around the Crosspool community memorial.
The Rev. Suzanne Nockels will lead you in prayer and reflection to remember the sacrifice of those around the world whose life has been touched by conflict.
A lone trumpeter will play the last post and the two-minute silence will be observed.
“We will never forget the cost of war, nor the value of peace”.
On Sunday, there will also be a Remembrance Sunday Service in the Chapel at 2.45 p.m.
Everyone is invited to join us on Saturday 11th November at 10.45 a.m., for a brief ceremony to commemorate Armistice Day.
We will remember and honour the memory of all those who have been affected by conflict.
The ceremony will take place near the community-funded memorial outside Tapton Hill Congregational Church where a military bandsman will play the last post and we observe the two-minute silence.
“We will never forget the cost of war, nor the value of peace”.
On Sunday, there will also be a Remembrance Sunday Service in the Chapel at 2.45 p.m.
