Lost Chord Dementia Charity Comes to the Crosspool Festival
Tuesday 4th July at 7pm – Tapton Hill Congregational Church
LOST CORD UK is an innovative charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and well-being of those living with dementia and other complex health needs.
They provide interactive music sessions in both the community and care home settings and increase the self-esteem and well-being of everyone who takes part in these sessions.
From a modest beginning in 11 CareHomes in Rotherham, Lost Chord has expanded across the country.
We will be joined by their CEO, Clare Langan, a flautist with an international reputation, who has worked with the charity for 20 years and is a passionate ambassador for Lost Chord.
Clare will tell us more about the charity and its impact on the lives of people living with dementia and how we can get involved.
