Local charity in car boot sale boost

Over £285 was raised for Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity at yesterday’s Crosspool Forum car boot sale.

The weather stayed fine all morning as shoppers snapped up bargains in the car park of the Crosspool Tavern on Manchester Road.

Stallholders made a few bob for themselves and raised a very welcome £287.30 for the charity.
